The high-speed EPH130RLD robot is per­fect­ly suit­ed for the rig­ors of press han­dling and offers numer­ous rea­sons to pur­chase. To begin, you can expect noth­ing short of max­i­mum per­for­mance and dura­bil­i­ty with any of the robots from the Expert Press Han­dling series. This mod­el in par­tic­u­lar is shelf-mount­ed and offers a 3,474 mm hor­i­zon­tal reach; 4,151 mm ver­ti­cal; and ±0.3 mm repeata­bil­i­ty. These specs allow improved clear­ance for die changes and give enough spac­ing (from 4 – 7 m) when used for press tend­ing. In addi­tion, there is a high vibra­tion rat­ing mak­ing it ide­al for the press room. 

Anoth­er advan­tage of the design of the EPH130RLD is that it is ener­gy effi­cient with a 25% reduc­tion of pow­er con­sump­tion. For high duty cycle appli­ca­tions, the EPH130RLD has high­er-per­for­mance dri­ve sys­tems on the S‑, L‑, and U‑axes.Also, the mul­ti­ple robot con­trol sim­pli­fies pro­gram­ming as it can coor­di­nate with up to 8 robots/​72 axes. 

The DX100 pro­gram­ming pen­dant is small and light­weight. To fur­ther increase need­ed flex­i­bil­i­ty, the EPH 130RLD can be used in a dual-robot, two-con­troller con­fig­u­ra­tion with oth­er DX100 con­trolled robots.
