KUKA KR C4 Compact Controller

The KUKA KR C4 Com­pact con­troller improves upon the flex­i­bil­i­ty, pow­er, and intel­li­gence of ear­li­er con­troller mod­els. The KRC4 com­pact offers effort­less con­trol of the entire sys­tem and all of the func­tion­al­i­ty and per­for­mance of the orig­i­nal KR C4 in a small­er pack­age for increased space sav­ings. KUKA has reduced hard­ware com­po­nents, as well as cables and con­nec­tors to reduce the space need­ed to house the con­troller, replac­ing it with more soft­ware-based solutions.

While the KR-C4 com­pact con­troller is a space saver, it has many oth­er key fea­tures, includ­ing effort­less con­trol, open archi­tec­ture to improve ver­sa­til­i­ty with KUKA robots and exter­nal axes, as well as speak­ing mul­ti­ple lan­guages – CNC and PLC, to be exact. While it robust, this con­troller is runs qui­et­ly, and the ener­gy con­sump­tion has been cut by 95% — a per­fect addi­tion, espe­cial­ly for the com­pa­ny try­ing to save mon­ey while still going green. This robot can be paired with the KUKA smart­PAD.
