Motoman UP500

The new and used Motoman UP500 fea­ture a heavy pay­load of 500 kg and a long reach of 2,542 mm to pro­vide a ver­sa­tile approach to indus­tri­al applications.

The UP500 XRC fea­tures par­al­lel-link con­struc­tion for strength, rigid­i­ty, and sta­bi­liza­tion of high moment/​inertia loads. The UP500’s heavy-duty bear­ings pro­vide smooth arm rotation.

The patent­ed mul­ti­ple robot con­trol allows the Motoman UP500 XRC robot to posi­tion large parts for pro­cess­ing by oth­er robots. This ​“jig­less” pro­cess­ing is the ulti­mate form of flex­i­ble automa­tion. Up to four robots can be con­trolled simul­ta­ne­ous­ly by the advanced XRC 2001 controller.

The UP500 is RIA R15.06 (1999) com­pli­ant, has full 6‑axis capa­bil­i­ty pro­vid­ing high flex­i­bil­i­ty, is ide­al for heavy part han­dling and jig­less pro­cess­ing. It also has an IP67 wrist rat­ing with a reli­a­bil­i­ty of 52,000 hours MTBF.
