This inter­nal design increas­es cable life by reduc­ing wear and elim­i­nat­ing cable flip. A reduc­tion in pro­gram­ming and cycle time is achieved by min­i­miz­ing the motion required for torch orientation.

EA-1400 Motoman weld­ing robots can per­form a full T‑axis rota­tion with­out cable inter­fer­ence. A hol­low upper arm main­tains the opti­mum bend radius of the weld­ing torch cable, max­i­miz­ing weld per­for­mance and extend­ing cable life with­out cable interference.
