ABB IRB 540S

The ABB IRB 540S is a mod­i­fied ver­sion of the stan­dard IRB 540 IRC5P that offers the same eco­nom­i­cal ben­e­fits and pow­er­ful software.

It deliv­ers con­stant high fin­ish qual­i­ty and reduced over­spray, thus reduc­ing mate­r­i­al con­sump­tion and waste. With a short­er ver­ti­cal arm and a nar­row base, the size of the Small 540 IRC5P makes it an effec­tive paint robot for appli­ca­tions in lim­it­ed and nar­row areas.

There are also used ABB IRB 540S robots avail­able through Robots​.com. Every used IRB 540S robot goes through an intense refur­bish­ment process.

The robot is not coun­ter­bal­anced and can be mount­ed upside down. CP pro­gram­ming and man­u­al PTP pro­gram­ming are not avail­able on this robot.
